General Manager

Shakesperience is a 20 year old theatre arts nonprofit delivering learning experiences to schools, communities and aspiring artists and actors. Based in Waterbury, Connecticut, Shakesperience is soliciting resumes from organized, positive individuals with strong management and interpersonal skills for the new position of General Manager.  The General Manager is responsible for managing day to day operations including school tours, community tours, marketing and funding.  Development experience is a special focus of this position.  Additional responsibilities include staffing, logistics, property management, fleet maintenance, and event coordination.  Salary to fit experience. Professional Stage Manager

Dynamic staff seeks Stage Manager for outreach repertory programs and public summer tours. Duties include, but are not limited to, interdepartmental coordination staffing, reporting and recording, scheduling and running rehearsals, production meetings, auditions and performances.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience, clean driving record, experience teaching/working with all ages, tour experience

Essential Qualifications: Energy, drive, patience, enthusiasm, trustworthiness, assertiveness, sense of humor, loyalty, punctuality, organizational skills, willingness to relocate, and valid driver’s license.

Resident Artists/Actors
